About Ms. Michele

Welcome to Lil Squirts Child Care! My name is Michele Jones. My husband Thomas and I have been married since 2005 and have lived in Port St. John since 2007. We both are from California but we moved here shortly after we got married. We have a daughter named Madelyn who was born in 2009. We are members at First Baptist Merritt Island where I volunteer in the children’s ministry. I taught the two year old Sunday School class for a year and currently help out in Maddie’s Sunday School class every couple of weeks. I worked at La Petite Academy as a Two Year Old Teacher for about a year and loved it.

I have always loved working with children and opened Lil Squirts Child Care so that I can be home with Maddie during the day. As a Home Child Care, we offer a healthy, happy, loving, family environment. We are committed to supporting families in nurturing and developing their children by providing an atmosphere of safety, concern, and love. We offer a stable, loving, learning environment with lots of fun, creativity, patience and encouragement. The children are constantly learning through everyday living, as well as through age appropriate learning methods.

We are a Christian home child care and it is my goal to provide an environment where Christian values are taught and encouraged. We encourage and model proper manners and respect for one another. I believe that children are our future and are a gift from God. It is my goal to provide a safe and positive atmosphere where the intellectual and social development of each child can be promoted. I love to be able to watch as the little ones grow up and learn something new every day.
